Sustainable holidays

Our love for the area has led us to develop a deep sense of responsibility in the use of resources, specifically:

• We have redeveloped 12,000 m² of green space, creating a nature park open to the public: the Parco Green Eco Village.
• All green areas are managed according to organic principles.
• We heat and cool the clubhouse using geothermal energy.
• We have installed solar panels to encourage the use of renewable energy.
• We heat the water of the hydromassage pool using geothermal energy.
• We promote genuine food sustainability, favouring short supply chains and zero-km products. Locally sourced fruit, vegetables and raw ingredients allow us to support the area, reduce transport and bring fresh, seasonal ingredients to the table.
• We have reduced waste by replacing single-use plastic with biodegradable plastics, paper and glass.
• We promote sustainable mobility on holiday by offering our guests services such as bike hire, e-bike hire, electric car charging points and a beach shuttle service to reach the beach without moving the car.
• The entire resort is car-free: guests move around safely on foot or by bike and staff travel using electric vehicles.

The growth of Green Village Resort has been made possible thanks to the commitment and support of our staff and the management of Europa Tourist Group.

Our main social sustainability actions are focused on the well-being of our employees:

• We are committed to providing additional training to ensure greater safety for our employees.
• We run refresher courses that take well-being in the workplace into account.
• We have developed an LMS platform (Learning Management System) that gives our employees technical skills in using software, as well as soft skills for better relationships with colleagues and guests.
